OpenMatters.Net had run a logo contest to select a new logo. Please vote for your choice here. This poll will decide the winner and hence the new official logo.

One of the main problem with open source development is communication. Development teams are generally streched over many countries and over many continents. Most of the team members hardly ever meet.

This gives rise to the problem of communication gap. Developers cannot interact and discuss over the project. Expensive means like telephonic communication etc are also not practical. After all you cannot expect someone to spend greater than a certain limit on a project meant for the community!

OpenMatters.Net is greatly obliged to provide the communication board to such developers.

PHPBB is certainly the most popular open source bulletin board available today. Many websites use this software to host their forums (Including openmatters).
